Site management is a senior role that involves multiple duties on construction sites, mainly focused on supervising and overseeing the project's direction, liaising with the client, selecting tools and materials, making safety inspections, checking and preparing site reports, assessing and minimising risk, and more.
The SMSTS exam is one of your course assessments. You must pass this 30-minute written examination at the end of the SMSTS course. There are 25 questions in the SMSTS test, and 20 of these questions are MCQs. You will need to get at least 80% marks. Other than MCQs, there are 5 long questions which must be answered correctly.
After passing the SMSTS test, you’ll get an SMSTS certificate.
The cost of a CITB Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course offered by Hurak Learning is £450, including VAT.
