The updated version includes enhanced modules like drink spiking awareness and refreshed safety guidance, making it more practical and aligned with today’s security challenges.
Since April 2025, it has been compulsory for Door Supervisors renewing their licence to complete this course. It ensures you're up to date with the latest legal and operational standards.
You’ll typically receive your certificate within 10–12 working days after finishing your course. We’ll notify you by email once it’s ready.
After you’ve completed the training, you can log in to your SIA online account and follow the steps to renew your licence. Most applications are processed within 25 working days.
Once renewed, your SIA Door Supervisor licence is valid for 3 years — assuming you’ve completed all required training and continue to meet the SIA’s eligibility criteria.
