Entry Requirements for the SMSTS Training in Swansea
Applicants for the SMSTS course must be able to read, write, and understand English at a good level.

Course Assessment for the SMSTS Course in Swansea
On the last day of your SMSTS course, you will take a 35-minute exam with 25 questions split into two sections.
Part A consists of 18 multiple-choice questions worth 1 mark each, while Part B contains 7 written questions worth 2 marks each.
In the final 15 minutes, you may use your course books and notes to aid your answers.
A minimum score of 26 out of 32 marks (81%) is required to pass.

Certification for the Site Manager Course
Candidates who complete the SMSTS course will be awarded a CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) digital certificate, issued within 2-3 weeks.
This certificate is valid for 5 years, after which refresher training is necessary.
