Yes. You’ll need a valid Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate to attend the SIA Top-Up Refresher in Cardiff. If you don’t have one, you can book our combined package, which includes both the first aid course and the refresher training.
If your SIA Security Guard licence is due to expire within the next 4 months, or expired within the past 3 years, you must take this refresher course. If your licence expired more than 3 years ago, the SIA requires you to complete the full Security Guard course instead.
