IOSH Managing Safely Course Assessment

The IOSH Managing Safely Exam assesses the student's understanding of the course material. It comprises 30 multiple-choice questions and must be completed within 45 minutes. Students must score at least 60% to pass.
Two attempts are allowed. Failing to meet the required score on the second attempt necessitates retaking the entire course.
Project:
The IOSH Managing Safely Project evaluates the student's ability to conduct a risk assessment. This assessment can take place at the workplace or any familiar environment.
The project is submitted online and assessed by tutors. Draft versions can be submitted for feedback before the final assessment. The project template includes three sections:
Page 1: Administrative details and scope description of the risk assessment
Page 2: Risk assessment following a format explained in the course
Page 3: Guidelines for completing the project. To pass the project, students must score at least 23 points out of 38.
Unlike written exams, the risk assessment project has no set time limit, but completing it within 2 hours is advisable.
Candidates must submit their completed risk assessment project within 14 days of completing the course to get an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate. The submission deadlines may differ based on the learning method.
