I booked my training through Hurak but I got my SIA training at Read Training. The trainers were awesome and I did got the required treatment and training as I was told. Their service was good and I would love to do my CCTV training with them in the future.
Abdiaziz was really well spoken and clear, made the training much easier for me

This is a mandatory course introduced by the SIA for existing Door Supervisor licence holders. It includes essential updates like spiking awareness, refreshed physical intervention skills, and enhanced safety content.
Since April 2025, the SIA has made it compulsory for all renewing Door Supervisors to complete this updated training. It ensures you’re familiar with the latest safety practices and legal responsibilities in the industry.
The newer version includes expanded content — such as modules on spiking awareness and revised intervention techniques — to better reflect the current challenges security professionals face in real-world settings.
You’ll need to bring one valid photo ID (like a driving licence or passport) and two recent proofs of address, dated within the last 3 months. These are required for identity verification.
Please wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes. You’ll be participating in physical intervention exercises, so it's important your clothing doesn’t restrict movement.
No — the SIA requires this course to be done in person. Some modules involve practical assessment (e.g. search procedures and physical intervention) that can’t be delivered online.
Our Norwich venue is centrally located and easily accessible by train, bus, or car. You'll receive full address details and directions after booking your place.
Yes — we offer instalment options and “Buy Now, Pay Later” through Klarna. These choices are available during checkout when booking online.
Your certificate is usually issued within 10 to 12 working days after completing the course. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as it’s ready.
Once you complete the course, simply apply for renewal on the official SIA website. Most applications are processed within 25 working days.
Your renewed licence will be valid for 3 years, provided you’ve completed the refresher training and continue to meet all SIA licensing requirements.
Once renewed, you’ll be eligible for the same roles as before — such as retail security in Chantry Place, door supervision on Prince of Wales Road, or events security at Earlham Park and city centre venues.
