It’s necessary to complete three mandatory foundational units before advancing to the specialised pathways. These units provide you with a solid grasp of the fundamental concepts, thus enabling you to feel confident and well-equipped for the rest of the course.

Pathway 5 – Thatching 

Pathway 6 – Solar Collector Roofer – Access 

Pathway 7 – Solar Collector Roofer – Protection/Handover

Each pathway has its own set of mandatory units that you'll need to pass, and some of them even have optional units that will allow you to specialise further. These options allow you to tailor your learning experience to your interests and career goals.

Assessment

For this qualification, you must develop a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate that you have achieved all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.
