To qualify for the SSSTS Refresher course, you must:
If you choose to take the SSSTS Refresher Course Online via Zoom, you'll also need a PC or laptop with a microphone, webcam, and a reliable internet connection.
The SSSTS Refresher includes a 30-minute exam with 22 multiple-choice and three short-answer questions. To pass, you need a score of 80% (24 out of 30). The exam includes four safety-critical questions, which must all be answered correctly to pass.
In the last 10 minutes, you can use your course materials and notes to assist with your answers.
Worried about the exam? No need to panic! It's straightforward, and we provide free mock exams and resources to help you pass.
In the rare event that you fail the SSSTS Refresher exam with a score between 70%–77% (21, 22, or 23 out of 30) or pass the 80% requirement but fail the safety-critical questions, you may re-sit the exam.
However, if your score is below 67% (20 correct answers out of 30), you must retake the full SSSTS Refresher course before being allowed to re-sit the exam.
