Is the Course Difficult?
The CSCS Green Card Course for Labourers, formally known as the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, is a simple course to pass. It covers basic health and safety topics and is assessed through a one-hour multiple-choice exam. To pass, you need to score at least 32 out of 40 (80%).
In addition to the course, remember that you must also pass the CITB Operatives test to obtain your CSCS Card. The test consists of 50 questions and lasts 45 minutes, and it has a pass mark of 90% (45 correct answers).
The CSCS Green Card Course is available in English only, but the CITB Operatives test can be taken in up to 12 languages.
