As long as you are working in a suitable health and safety role and can provide the required workplace evidence, you will meet the criteria to achieve the qualification. Your assessor will support you throughout the process to ensure your portfolio meets the national standards.
Not in the traditional sense. Since there are no exams, you cannot fail outright. If your evidence does not initially meet the standard, your assessor will give feedback and help you provide additional examples until your portfolio is complete.
Yes. Once enrolled, you can apply for the temporary Red CSCS Manager Card, allowing you to continue working while completing the qualification. After successfully completing the NVQ Level 5, you’ll be eligible to apply for the Black CSCS Managers Card.
Once your assessor confirms that your portfolio meets the assessment requirements, it will be internally verified and then externally quality assured. If successful, you’ll be awarded the NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice, enabling you to apply for a Black CSCS Managers Card.
