The CCNSG Safety Passport began as SCATS in Pembrokeshire to streamline contractor inductions for local businesses. Its success led to interest from other regions, prompting the creator to seek national standardisation. The ECITB then adopted and rebranded it as the CCNSG, which is now the standard safety card for the engineering construction industry.

Entry Requirements

To attend this course, you must have a valid CCNSG Safety Passport. Bring it with you and show it to the trainer when you arrive. You can renew your Safety Passport up to three months before it expires.

Bring your National Insurance number and a UK photo card, driving license or travel passport as ID. If you have a different type of photo ID, it must be approved before the course. If you don’t bring the required ID, you won’t be allowed to take the course, but you will still be charged the full fee.
