The Fire Stopping NVQ Level 2 — also known as the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Passive Fire Protection — is a nationally recognised qualification for operatives working on-site.
This work-based fire stopping qualification proves your ability to install fire protection materials correctly and safely. It’s a recognised route to gaining your Blue CSCS Card.
This qualification is aimed at fire-stopping operatives who are already working on site. If you're responsible for sealing service openings or applying fire-resistant materials, this NVQ helps you formalise your skills and work towards your Blue CSCS Card.
The NVQ Level 2 in Fire Stopping includes a mix of mandatory and optional units, based on the work you do on site.

You’ll also be eligible to apply for your CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card, showing employers that you’re fully competent in passive fire protection and fire stopping.
