Entry Requirement
Anyone aged 16 can join the Security Guard course, provided they have a good enough grasp of English to follow the training and complete the assessments. You'll need to be 18 or older, though, before you're able to apply for an SIA Security Guard licence.
You'll also be asked to hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate (or an accepted equivalent) with at least 12 months left to run when the course starts. If you don't currently hold one, you can add First Aid training when booking.
