Yes, but the licence is not issued automatically when you pass. You first need to complete the required licence-linked qualification, then apply separately to the SIA, pay the Β£204 application fee and pass the SIA's application checks.
You can take the course from the age of 16. However, you must be at least 18 before applying for an SIA Security Guard licence.
Yes. You must have a valid Emergency First Aid at Work qualification or an accepted equivalent before training begins. If needed, First Aid can be added to your booking. Any existing qualification must have at least 12 months remaining.
The training takes 4 days and includes mandatory self-study as part of the course requirements.

Assessment includes 3 multiple-choice theory exams and practical assessments. The three theory papers contain 72, 60 and 20 questions respectively, and each exam has a 70% pass mark.

A Security Guard licence does not cover door-supervision duties at licensed premises.
