You must hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work qualification or an accepted equivalent before starting the training. If you do not already have one, First Aid can be added to your booking. Any existing qualification must have at least 12 months remaining.
The training takes 4 days to complete and includes mandatory self-study as part of the course requirements.
The course includes 3 multiple-choice theory exams and practical assessments. The theory papers contain 72, 60 and 20 questions respectively, with a 70% pass mark required for each exam.
