If you sell software, a growing share of your buyers now build a shortlist by asking ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews before they ever open your site. That is the job AI visibility agencies for SaaS are hired to do: get your product named (and ideally linked) inside those answers. The clicks that used to follow a search are thinning out, too. A February 2025 consumer survey from Bain found that about 80% of consumers rely on zero-click results in at least 40% of their searches.
The trouble is that almost every SEO shop now claims it does this work. Some track prompts across several AI engines and run placements on third-party sites. Others renamed an SEO retainer. We compared twelve providers on what a SaaS marketing lead can actually check from the outside: which engines they say they track, what they publish about price, and where each one is a poor fit.
We started with the agencies that kept showing up across ranking roundups for AI visibility and AI search work, then cut anyone that does not sell to SaaS or software companies. For every provider left, we read its own AI search or GEO service page and its pricing page, then looked up its Clutch profile for a rating, review count and minimum project size.
Four checks decided the final list:
Named AI engines. We gave credit only when the agency says which engines it tracks (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews), not when it says "AI" in general.
Off-site work. A brand's own pages are a small part of what AI engines read, so listicle placements, digital PR, Reddit or review profiles had to be in scope.
Visible pricing. A number or a clear pricing model. Where the agency publishes nothing, we give the Clutch minimum project size instead.
A real SaaS buyer. Either a SaaS-only agency, or a stated SaaS or B2B software practice.
We did not use self-reported case-study percentages, because none of them can be checked. Ratings are from Clutch and are given as plain text.

Gripped | UK and European SaaS that want AI search optimization next to paid media | GBP 5K to 15K per month | 4.9 (32 reviews) | ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews |
Omniscient Digital | Well-funded B2B software with a big content budget | $120,000 per year | 4.8 (6 reviews) | Not itemized |

Minuttia | B2B SaaS that wants Reddit and PR in the same contract | Not published (Clutch minimum $5,000+) | 4.9 (16 reviews) | Not itemized |
Spicy Margarita | B2B teams that want a strategist on Slack | $5,999 per month | No rating found | Not itemized |

Omnius | SaaS and fintech companies in Europe | Not published (Clutch minimum $5,000+) | Not yet reviewed | Not itemized |
Best for: Funded B2B SaaS and software companies that want one AI visibility agency to run Google rankings and AI search visibility as a single retainer.
Nine Peaks Media is a B2B SaaS SEO agency that sells AI SEO services alongside its organic search, link building and content work. The starting point is a short list of buyer prompts, usually 5 to 10 per client (for example one head prompt such as "best onboarding software" plus a few longer variations). The team then tracks where the brand appears for those prompts and works on the pages and third-party sources the answers pull from.
The agency's view is that AI engines sit on top of ordinary search. ChatGPT runs a web search, much of it through Bing, reads the top results and summarizes them. So a product that ranks on Google but not on Bing can still be missing from ChatGPT answers. That is why the ranking work and the AI visibility work are run as one program.
What you get:
Prompt tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode
Placements in third-party listicles and directories, plus Reddit and Quora seeding
Backlink outreach and on-page work on the pages you want cited
The site says it has helped more than 60 SaaS, software and technology companies
Pricing: "$3,500 to $10,000 per month" over "6 to 18 months." Work starts on a 2-month agreement, then moves to a 6-month rolling engagement.
Rating: 5.0 on Clutch from 22 reviews.
Not good for: There are no fixed packages listed on the website, so you will need a strategy call to get an exact quote, and the budget may be too much for an unfunded startup that cannot commit to the six to twelve months meaningful results can take.
Best for: B2B SaaS and AI companies that want AI search share of voice reported next to pipeline numbers.
SimpleTiger calls itself "The B2B SaaS Marketing Agency & AI Search Leader." Its core service, Search Visibility, combines SEO with what it calls GEO and AEO (generative engine optimization and answer engine optimization, two names for the same goal of being cited in AI answers). It measures AI Search Share of Voice, meaning how often you show up in AI recommendations compared with competitors.
The client range is wide, from seed-funded startups to enterprise, across martech, fintech, cybersecurity and HR software.
What you get:
SEO and AI search visibility work in one service line
Share-of-voice tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews
Packages that step up in execution capacity (Kickstart to Dominate)
Optional paid ads and web design under the same roof
Pricing: No dollar figures on the site. Its FAQ says SEO packages start at 5% of revenue or funding, adjusted to growth stage.
Rating: 4.9 on Clutch from 32 reviews.
Not good for: You cannot work out a monthly number before the demo, and a percentage-of-funding model can get expensive quickly after a large raise.
Best for: Founders and marketing leads at B2B SaaS, software and IT companies who would rather hire one experienced consultant than an agency team.
Mike Khorev is an independent SEO and growth marketing consultant who works with B2B, SaaS, software and technology companies. His AI SEO consulting is pitched as a six-step program to rank and drive traffic from Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity, so the AI visibility for SaaS work sits next to classic SEO rather than replacing it.
The six steps cover keyword research for terms AI tools surface, on-site SEO for both kinds of search, content written for AI answers, contextual link building, technical readiness for AI crawlers and conversion work. He works with business owners directly and also coaches in-house marketers and agency teams.
What you get:
One senior person on strategy and execution, with no account-manager layer
AI SEO consulting that names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode
A complimentary 45-minute call to review current SEO performance
Flexible contracts, according to his site
Pricing: Custom monthly consulting fee, scoped to each company after the free 45-minute call.
Rating: His site shows no third-party star rating or review count.
Not good for: A single consultant has limited capacity, so teams that need a lot of content and placements produced every month may outgrow the setup.
Best for: SaaS companies that want an AI visibility agency with fixed, published tiers.
MADX describes itself as built for B2B SaaS and says more than 50 SaaS brands work with it. Its GEO service runs a 3-month launch program: an AI visibility audit and schema fixes in month one, content and page restructuring in month two, then off-site campaigns and citation monitoring in month three.
The retainer tiers differ mainly in how many AI models are tracked and how often.
What you get:
An AI visibility audit benchmarked against competitors
Weekly prompt tracking across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Claude on the entry tier
Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot added on the Growth tier, with a GEO dashboard
A one-off AI Search and SEO Growth Plan for $4,500
Pricing: Authority $5,500 per month, Growth $9,500, Scale $14,500, Enterprise from $20,000. The GEO service page lists plans starting from $2,500 per month. A 12-month term gives the best rate; rolling contracts have a 3-month minimum.
Rating: 4.9 on Clutch from 14 reviews.
Not good for: The entry retainer only covers three AI models, and the lowest monthly rate needs a 12-month commitment.
Strict about fit. DerivateX only takes B2B SaaS companies from $5M ARR, and says pre-revenue, B2C and e-commerce companies are not a match.
Best for: B2B SaaS between roughly $5M and $50M ARR that wants SaaS AI visibility work with a trial period.
The agency runs Google and AI search as one plan. It checks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude manually and in incognito, and its diagnostic audit also covers Google AI Overviews.
What you get:
AI citation checks across four named engines
A 90-day pilot on the two lower tiers, with no auto-renewal and no exit penalty
Off-site placement spend approved in writing before it happens
A two-week diagnostic for $3,500, credited if you convert within 30 days
Pricing: Rank and Get Found $5,000 per month, Own Your Category $8,000, Market Leader $12,000 (6-month minimum). Off-site placement budgets of $1,000 to $3,000 per month sit on top.
Rating: 5.0 on Clutch from 7 reviews.
Not good for: The placement budget is extra, so the real monthly cost is above the headline retainer, and early-stage startups are excluded by design.
Best for: Series A to growth-stage SaaS and AI companies in the UK and Europe that judge marketing on pipeline.
Gripped is a London B2B agency that says it works "exclusively in SaaS and AI" and turns away e-commerce, consumer and generalist B2B companies. GEO is one of its services, described as "Getting your brand cited and recommended by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews."
In practice, the AI search visibility work runs alongside SEO, content and paid media in the same engagement. Its FAQ says GEO covers structured data, entity building and content formats that language models can read.
What you get:
GEO as part of a multi-channel B2B plan
Reporting on MQLs, SQLs, CAC and opportunity value rather than traffic
A team of about 25, with 160+ SaaS, AI and tech clients since 2017
Pricing: Typical agency fees of GBP 5K to 15K per month, with most clients at GBP 8K to 12K. Ad spend is separate.
Rating: 4.9 on Clutch from 32 reviews.
Not good for: GEO is one channel inside a broader retainer, so a team that only wants AI visibility work may pay for more than it needs, and the site gives conflicting contract terms (3 months' notice versus 6 to 12 months).
Big budget, big content program. Omniscient Digital is an organic growth agency for B2B software companies that sells answer engine optimization as a named service.
Best for: Well-funded B2B software companies that want AI search optimization inside a large content operation.
The agency starts with customer research (sales calls, interviews and voice-of-customer data) instead of a keyword export. Its reporting tracks AI share of voice and citation share next to pipeline and organic traffic, which suits a SaaS team that has to defend the spend to a board.
What you get:
AEO aimed at getting recommended by language models
SEO strategy, programmatic SEO, technical SEO, link building and digital PR
AI share of voice and citation share reporting
Pricing: "Full-service engagements start at $120,000/year."
Rating: 4.8 on Clutch from 6 reviews.
Not good for: At $120,000 a year, it is out of reach for most seed and Series A SaaS companies.
Best for: SaaS brands with the budget for content and digital PR at volume.
Siege Media now leads with "Full-service GEO. We make brands the answer in search." Its GEO work starts from prompt and citation data to find where a brand is missing from AI mentions and recommendations. SaaS logos on its site include Zendesk, Asana, Zapier, HubSpot and Drata.
The off-site side is strong for generative engine optimization: digital PR, Reddit marketing, affiliate partnerships and research reports all sit in the service list. CEO Ross Hudgens has also written a book on GEO, published by Wiley.
What you get:
Prompt and citation gap analysis
Content strategy and production, plus design
Digital PR, Reddit marketing and research reports
Content refreshes driven by performance data
Pricing: Not published. Clutch lists a $5,000+ minimum project size and $100 to $149 per hour.
Rating: 4.9 on Clutch from 48 reviews, the largest review count here.
Not good for: There is no price list, and the engines it tracks are not named on the homepage, so you will have to ask both questions on the first call.
Minuttia says it works with 60+ B2B SaaS clients and pitches visibility "from Google to ChatGPT."
Best for: B2B SaaS companies that want Reddit marketing and digital PR handled by the same AI visibility agency.
The off-site services are the reason to look here. Its digital PR aims at brand mentions picked up by Google and AI search, and its Reddit service is described as "human-led participation in the Reddit threads shaping buyer decisions and AI search." It also sells Agent Analytics and Reporting, meant to show how AI systems find and surface your content.
What you get:
Combined Google and AI search strategy
Reddit marketing and digital PR
Agent analytics and reporting
A stated 94% client retention rate and 24+ months average tenure
Pricing: Not published. Clutch lists a $5,000+ minimum project size and $100 to $149 per hour.
Rating: 4.9 on Clutch from 16 reviews.
Not good for: The homepage does not name the AI engines it tracks, and you cannot estimate cost before an intro call.
Best for: B2B SaaS teams that want a senior strategist on Slack and two strategy calls a month.
Spicy Margarita sells SEO, content and AEO on a monthly retainer. The Fractional tier gives you an embedded strategist with AI SEO strategy, and the Done For You tier adds articles, backlinks and Reddit threads, with performance tracked across traditional search and LLM platforms.
What you get:
Unlimited Slack access and two 1:1 strategy calls a month
5 backlinks (DR 60 to 80) on Fractional, 15 on Done For You
4 high-intent Reddit threads a month on Done For You
Access to the team's AEO and SEO experiment notes
Pricing: Fractional SEO and Content Leadership $5,999 per month (GBP 4,499); SEO Done For You from $10,499 per month (GBP 7,950). AI citation outreach is an add-on with custom pricing.
Rating: We could not find a Clutch rating to quote.
Not good for: The dedicated AI citation outreach costs extra, so the base plans cover less AI search optimization than the name suggests.
Best for: Software companies that want AI visibility work and paid media from one agency.
Single Grain's tagline is "We Don't Advise on AI. We Run It." Its AEO and GEO service aims to get brands cited in AI answers, and the site names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot, plus Google AI Overviews and AI Mode in its case study metrics. A separate SaaS practice covers B2B SaaS marketing and consulting.
What you get:
AEO and GEO work across five named assistants
Search Everywhere Optimization as an SEO line
Paid search, paid social and CRO from the same team
A free growth audit to start
Pricing: Not published. Clutch lists a $10,000+ minimum project size.
Rating: 4.8 on Clutch from 12 reviews.
Not good for: It is a generalist growth agency, so the SaaS AI visibility work does not get the same depth on the site as its paid media services.
Best for: SaaS and fintech companies, mostly in Europe, that want GEO run by a B2B search specialist.
Omnius describes itself as a "B2B SEO & AI Search marketing agency" with a London head office and teams in Dubai and Belgrade. Its pitch is that "Search is no longer Google-only," and it sells GEO, AEO, entity SEO and an AI search audit as separate services. The site shows ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Bing as the surfaces it optimizes for.
What you get:
An AI search audit as a standalone service
GEO, AEO and entity SEO for SaaS
Programmatic SEO and development or CRO support
Pricing: Not published. Clutch lists a $5,000+ minimum project size and $25 to $49 per hour, the lowest hourly band on this list.
Rating: Not yet reviewed on Clutch.
Not good for: With no Clutch reviews and no published pricing, you have little outside evidence to compare it with the other agencies here.
AI search does not behave like the keyword box you are used to. An analysis from Andreessen Horowitz notes that queries in AI tools average 23 words, against about 4 in classic search. Your buyers are describing their whole situation, so the prompts an agency tracks for you should sound like that, too.
Some practical tests before you sign:
Ask for the prompt list. A sensible start is about 5 to 10 prompts per product category: one short head prompt plus three or four longer ones. If someone offers hundreds on day one, ask where they came from. There is no Search Console for AI, so every agency works with proxy prompts, and the honest ones say so.
Ask what happens off your site. For a "best X software" prompt, an AI engine may read around 30 listicles, many from 2023 or 2024 that were never updated. Your own blog is a small slice of that. You want named channels such as listicle inclusions, directories, review profiles and Reddit.
Ask about Bing. ChatGPT leans on Bing results. An agency that never checks your Bing rankings can miss a simple reason you are absent from ChatGPT.
Be careful with 30-day promises. AI visibility tends to lag organic rankings by about a month, and a first citation from a targeted rewrite can take three to four weeks, but only on a site that already ranks.
Skip the llms.txt line item. AI engines do not use that file in any meaningful way.
Also expect AI visibility work to cost more than SEO alone. Practitioners put it at three to four times the effort, because it adds off-site placements, community work and tracking across several engines. A cheap package that claims all of it is cutting something.
It tracks how often AI engines name or cite your product for a set of buyer prompts, then works on your pages and on the third-party sources those engines read. A citation is an answer that links to you; a mention names you without a link. Both count, but a citation is worth more.
On this list, published retainers start at $3,500 per month and run past $14,500, with enterprise-focused programs at $120,000 a year and up. Agencies that publish nothing list Clutch minimums of $5,000 to $10,000.
Not really. ChatGPT already knows a brand when you ask about it directly. The value is in non-branded discovery prompts, like "best expense software for startups," where the buyer has not picked anyone yet.
No. AI engines still pull from search results, so the ranking work underneath stays. AI search optimization is a layer on top of it.
Budget and stage narrow this list quickly. Omnius has the lowest hourly band here, and the independent route (Mike Khorev) suits teams that want one senior person instead of an agency. MADX, DerivateX, Spicy Margarita and Gripped publish clear mid-market numbers. Siege Media, Single Grain and Omniscient Digital suit companies with bigger content budgets. Whichever way you lean, ask each provider the same three questions: which engines, which off-site channels, and what the monthly number is.
For funded B2B SaaS brands that want AI search visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with a tracked set of buyer prompts, placements in the third-party listicles those engines read and the Google and Bing rankings underneath, Nine Peaks Media is the best pick on this list, with retainers that typically run $3,500 to $10,000 per month.
