- Definitions
- Learner/Candidate: Refers to the individual whose details have been submitted through the website and who, upon receipt of payment, will receive access to the online learning material provided by MJ Training Solutions UK Ltd.
- Use of Information
MJ Training Solutions UK Ltd collects and uses the information provided during enrolment to deliver our services. Additionally, we may use this information for the following purposes:
- To provide information about our products, services, and industry updates that may interest you.
- To inform you about other products that may be of interest to you. This information will be sent until you request to stop receiving it.
- To notify you of any changes to our website or services.
- We will never sell or pass your information to third parties for marketing purposes.
- We will share your information with our Awarding Bodies to register you for your examination and for issuing certifications to successful candidates.
- We may share your information with third-party training providers for the purpose of registering you for certain training courses that we advertise and sell.

- Course Access and Final Examinations
- Course Access: Learner access to the online learning material is valid for 12 months from the date of enrolment. After this period, access will be revoked.
- Final Examinations: Examinations must be completed within 12 months from the date of enrolment. Extensions may be requested via email and are subject to the discretion of MJ Training Solutions UK Ltd. Extensions beyond 12 months may incur additional charges.
- Learner Agreement to Guided Learning Hours (GLH)
The learner agrees to complete all online learning material, practice tests, mock examinations, and self-study hours as outlined by MJ Training Solutions UK Ltd, in accordance with the awarding bodies’ recommended guided learning hours, before undertaking the City & Guilds final examinations.
- Cancellations & Refunds
- You have 14 days (the cooling-off period) from the completion of the enrolment/purchase process to reconsider your enrolment with MJ Training Solutions UK Ltd. This cooling-off period also applies to purchases made through reed.co.uk.
- Accessing the online course material within the 14-day cooling-off period will forfeit your right to a full refund. Refund amounts will be determined at the discretion of MJ Training Solutions UK Ltd.
- Changes in the Regulations
- Amendments to the Wiring Regulations by the IET may result in updates, renewals, or changes to the City & Guilds qualifications.
- During any crossover period between the existing and new final examination versions, either version may be taken. After this period, only the new version will be available, which may require candidates to update their regulations book.
- MJ Training Solutions UK Ltd will update and renew training materials within a reasonable timeframe to reflect changes in the regulations.
- E-Certificates & Certification
- E-Certificates: E-certificates will be emailed to the address provided during enrolment. To change this address, an administration fee of £10.00 + VAT will apply. E-certificates should be received within five working days of successfully passing the examination.
- Hard Copy Certificates: Hard copy certificates will be sent within approximately four weeks of the examination date. If you do not receive your certificate within this timeframe, please contact us. Reprints/reissues after this period will incur a fee of £50.00 + VAT.
- Certificate Address Changes: Certificates will be sent to the address provided during enrolment. Changes to this address will incur a £10.00 + VAT administration fee.
- Amendments Due to Learner Error: Failure to provide accurate information during enrolment that results in certificate amendments will incur a £10.00 + VAT administration fee.
