Our courses
Before submitting your application form, please read these Conditions of Contract. They are part of the Zems Academy booking process. By completing your application form and completing payment, you or the organisation you work for are indicating your agreement to enter into a contract with Zems Academy for your qualification. You should have familiarised yourself with the learning materials and the time commitment required for the completion of your qualification.
- Ownership of Learning Material.
The content provided on Zems Academy’s website and all learning materials shall remain the property of Zems Academy. No content in part or whole may be copied or reproduced without prior written consent from Zems Academy. - Bookings and Payments.
Acceptance of bookings is subject to availability. By submitting your application form you enter into contract for full attendance. Your application will be confirmed subject to full payment agreed. - Payments.
Zems Academy will invoice you the fee as soon as possible following your application and acceptance at Zems Academy. Fees must be paid as detailed in section 2. Once purchased by you, qualifications are non- assignable to another person. - Cancellation, Withdrawals.
We regret to inform that no refunds will be made if you cancel or withdraw from your chosen programme after the dates have been issued or agreed, as you will have already been registered with the awarding body. You can change the date of your course to an alternative date as long as you give us 48 hours prior notice from the booked agreed course date. - Zems Academy cannot accept any responsibility for loss of data or any consequential losses arising from the use of Zems Academy materials and use of Zems Academy Website or E-portfolio.
- Zems Academy will treat any information which may have obtained or received in relation to your application as private and confidential in accordance with the GDPR Act 2016 (in effect in the UK in 2018).
- Failure to provide; English assessments, Self-Study, First Aid certificate, Terrorism Awareness certificates (ACT) (including the ACT security) and/or sufficient ID and documentation, in order to meet SIA requirements will mean that you will be unable to start the course or receive the training.
