How long it&#8217;s valid for depends on which card you go for \u2013 it could be anywhere from 6 months to 5 years.<\/p><p>The Red Card allows you to maintain your job at a construction site while you&#8217;re undergoing a course. For example, if you&#8217;re a manager at a construction site and your employer asks you to level up to a <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/hurak.com\/blog\/cscs-black-card\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CSCS Black Card<\/a>.<\/span> You just need to enrol on a <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/hurak.com\/course\/level-6-nvq-diploma-construction-site-management\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Level 4 NVQ or higher<\/a>,<\/span> and temporarily obtain a CSCS Red Technical, Supervisor, and Manager Card. What makes this card unique is that it is issued free of charge. Not to forget, if the card is lost, a regular fee will apply. Many individuals opt for the <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/hurak.com\/course\/cscs-green-card-labourers-card-course\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CSCS Green Card (Labourers)<\/a><\/span> instead of going through the lengthy documentation process. To address this issue, CSCS has made the <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/card-type\/apprentice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apprentice Card<\/a><\/span> completely free for those who are eligible.<\/p><p><b>Validity of an Apprentice Card:<\/b><\/p><p>The Apprentice Card has a validity period of 4 years and 6 months, and it cannot be renewed once it expires.<\/p><p><b>Eligibility Criteria:<\/b><\/p><p>For the Apprentice Card, you need to provide proof of being registered for an apprenticeship. Proof can be provided in any of the following forms:<\/p><ul><li>An email or letter from the managing agency of your apprenticeship<\/li><li>A letter from your apprenticeship training provider<\/li><li>Your Apprenticeship Agreement<\/li><\/ul><p>You also need to pass a health and safety test. This must include the name of the applicant, the qualification title, and the date of registration (DOR).
