The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)<\/a>,<\/span> previously called PTLLS, is a foundation level qualification suitable for those wishing to begin their careers in teaching roles in the UK\u2019s lifelong education and skills sector.<\/p>

With this qualification, learners with no prior experience can teach courses up to Level 3 anywhere in the UK. AET is recognised by public and private sectors in the United Kingdom and is the first step towards a rewarding teaching career.<\/p>

PTLLS stands for ‘Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector’. The PTLLS teaching qualification has been replaced by the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET). The PTLLS and AET are quite similar, but AET has some updates in its structure and criteria<\/p>

Due to the regular updates in the education and training sector, fresh content needed to be added to the PTLLS qualification. With the additions, the PTLLS is now transformed into the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET).<\/p>
